Apartment 17

In the center of Cuneo we find this beautiful attic. The work here has been radical. The attic had to be completely restored and my intervention was part of a team work with architect, construction company, plumber, electrician and owner.

The old ceiling was removed to give more space to the room and to bring to light the old wooden beams of the roof. My intervention in this context was to choose the materials and furnishings always in line with the objective of the apartment which was that of renting for residential purposes. I wanted to recover an old English style sink from the 50s to give it a romantic touch, which I highlighted by placing a wall behind it with multicolored “cementine” tiles.

From this restructuring we were able to obtain a living room with kitchen, a beautiful and spacious bedroom, a large bathroom and a laundry room. The apartment was wonderful and functional! Despite the high rent price was rented in 13 days.
