We can understand a mollusk from its shell, a tenant from the house – Victor Hugo

The house is the place par excellence where we are free to feel ourselves 100%. When we close the door, the world remains outside and we can finally express our whole personality.

How many times have you happened to enter a house and feel good, at ease, almost happy?

How many others you have visited, which perhaps on paper had all the characteristics you were looking for and when you are inside you perceive that something wrong.

Each house has its own personality, just like us!

For these reasons, each house must be set up trying to follow the indications it transmits to us.

Sometimes we see clothes that others wear seem fantastic but when we try them on, we immediately change our mind. The same rule also applies to apartments.

You can do your home as you want, because it reflects you and your personality, but a home that must be sold or rented must follow the profile of the home itself, the context in which it is located and its purpose.

For example, I would see a mountain house welcoming, with wood and stone and warm colors. I would like a house by the sea very white, clean, with references and scents of the sea, with few objects and lots of light.

It is very difficult to give the right soul to every home! It is the most difficult effort I have to make in each set up … and it costs hours and hours of work. Especially for those like me who have perfectionism disease.

I don’t tell you my collaborators how much they have to endure for the absurd requests that I sometimes make them, “Saints immediately!”.

There is a thin border line that ranges between too much and too little, between light and shadow, between hot and cold and it is sometimes complicated to be able to maintain the correct course between the customer’s needs and the objectives of Home Staging.

Even objects in a house must necessarily follow the feeling of the same. Everything must be appropriate; each object in its place. When it is time to welcome a customer for a visit, the house must be aired several minutes before, it must smell clean, it must be well lit by opening the curtains and letting the light in. In the evening turning on all the lights.

Another thing not to be underestimated are the fabrics.

You know that beautiful material fabric, the oldest in the world, antibacterial, versatile and hypoallergenic. In addition to being among the most resistant materials and also breathable in summer and insulating in winter.

And yes, he is the linen, my fabric for excellence. Perfect on almost all occasions.

So material, but elegant and refined at the same time.

Do not forget that if there is a terrace, it is essential that it is not left out. For example, if you enjoy a beautiful view, you will have to put a few things in order not to nullify its potential. On the contrary, a terrace with a view that is anything but memorable, will have to be treated by working with plants, furniture and objects to distract the gaze from the external context and create a small corner of paradise. All this not to mask the defects but always to enhance the properties.

The terrace will certainly deserve an article of its own …

We have the power to make the world a better place to live, putting beauty in all our daily actions.

With love, Daniela.
